Is it suitable for your dog?
- Only use the product for dogs that are not lighter or heavier than the permitted weight indicated on the packaging and on the website.
Use the Trailstone™ product only as it is intended to be used!
- Carefully follow the directions as stated on the packaging and on the website.
- Never attach more than one dog to one Trailstone™ product
- Never attach any accessory to the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt that is not approved by Trailstone™.
Inspect Trailstone™ products
- Always inspect your Trailstone™ for signs of wear before use.
- Make sure all parts of Trailstone™ products are in good condition, not damaged, or frayed.
- High-quality materials can also be subject to natural wear and tear.
- Significant wear or damage, for example from dog teeth, can damage the components or the belt. Use of the Trailstone™ product should be discontinued in such cases.
Attaching the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt
When used in the rear seat
- Attach the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt to the vehicle seat belt as directed in the owner’s manual. Always place the belt through the 2 straps of the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt on the back of the dog.
- NEVER use the Trailstone™ Security Connector in the rear seat. This can only be used in combination with the Trailstone™ Dog Set Belt in the trunk.
- NEVER use extensions or other products to secure the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt to the rear seat.
When used in the trunk
- Attach the Trailstone™ Security Connector to the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt as directed in the Owner’s Manual. Always place the Trailstone™ Security Connector through the 2 straps of the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt on the back of the dog.
- Only attach the Trailstone™ Security Connector to the Top tether on the back of your rear seat.
Attaching the Trailstone™ Security Connector
- Attach the Trailstone™ Security Connector to Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt as directed in the owner’s manual. Always place the Trailstone™ Security Connector through the 2 straps of the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt on the back of the dog.
- Only attach the Trailstone™ Security Connector to the Top tether on the back of your rear seat.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOG IN THE CAR, YOUR CAR WILL WARM UP IN JUST A FEW MINUTES IN A PLACE TOO HOT.
Detaching the Trailstone™ products
- Make sure your dog is under control, your dog can be very excited after the car ride. Prevent your dog from running away.
- Getting out of the back seat: Make sure the Trailstone™ Dog Seat Belt is completely unfastened from the seat belt before letting your dog get out of the car.
- Getting out of the trunk: Make sure the Trailstone™ Security Connector is completely disconnected from the top tether before getting your dog out of the car.
Maintenance Tips
- Your Trailstone™ products can always be cleaned with a damp cloth. Let the products dry well. Do not wash Trailstone™ products.
- NEVER use chemical products or cleaning agents as this can damage the fabric and belts.
Guarantee
- Trailstone™ products for dogs are warranted by the manufacturer for a period of one year from date of purchase.
- This warranty is extended to Trailstone™ products where all materials and workmanship, as originally manufactured by the manufacturer, shall be free from defects in material.
- This warranty is provided only to the original purchaser.
- In case of a defect; return the Trailstone™ product to the place where it was purchased with the original purchase receipt.
- This warranty does not apply to broken, damaged, or frayed strap/leash/clips caused by dog teeth, rubbing against rough surfaces, rough handling, or misuse.
